In this poem, the poet has presented in his own style the small battles and joys that happen in the in-laws, when the situation in the house is too bad, blessings like children from Allah fill the happiness and daughters are a mercy.

| Daughters Day Poem Poetry in English |
Daughters day
The daughter-in-law brought a chador of modesty from her mother’s place,
At first, the days passed smoothly, and then began the race.
Nand and Deorani, with tales in hand,
Took turns to bicker—oh, wasn’t it grand!
At first, I was stunned, caught in the fray,
But then I remembered my grandma’s wise way.
I kept a silent fast, though my patience wore thin,
Until one day, I broke it—with a victorious grin.
They had a strategy, tucked in a niche,
Ready to battle, with me as their dish.
But peace was lost when a Siani arrived,
And the raft of calmness couldn’t survive.
Father-in-law stayed silent, aloof from it all,
So mother-in-law came, in her wisdom to call.
But by God’s grace, a little one was born,
And suddenly, the house felt bright and reborn.
Grandpa, uncle, aunt, and grandma too,
All gathered to see the baby so new.
My husband saw sweets and smiled with delight,
Everyone savored the joy, in a moment so bright.
When the little girl spoke, her first word was “Aunty,”
Then she repeated “Aunty,” with a grin so happy.
She became the star in everyone’s eyes,
And from that day on, no more fights, no more sighs!
It is understood that daughters are a blessing,
The beloved Prophet spoke of their mercy, never missing.
For in their laughter, in their tender grace,
Lies the joy and peace that fills every place.
