Eid was celebrated as neighborhoods were adorned.
Rabi al-Thani saw Monday's festive cheer,
Rice and pudding cooked as joy drew near.
Zainab's verses praised in Jumadi Al-Awwal's tale,
In Jumadi al-Thani, the Companions' courage prevailed.
In Rajab's sweet days, a wonder took place,
The Lord called the Prophet to a heavenly embrace.
In Shaban, the Qibla turned, a sign divine, |
The Lord praised the Prophet's wife in lines so fine.
Ramadan saw fasts and prayers five times a day,
Shawwal's Eid came with a charity display.
In Dhul-Qa'dah, victory's joy was in the air,
Then came Hajj's time, pilgrims in prayer.
Hajra circled seven rounds on sacred days,
Zamzam's spring flowed, and Ismail's thirst was swayed.
Abraham's dream, Ishmael did understand,
Pilgrims performed Hajj across the holy land.
Eid was celebrated, a year's blessings unfurled,
In every sacred moment, the Lord's love swirled.
