| Milkman Poem in English Poetry |
Milkman And milk buyer
There is a reckoning for those who milk give each month,
365 days marked by the calendar's count.
With months of 29 and 31 in their sway,
Yet 28 days fill the year's pathway.
Two cycles of 30 complete the full span,
Counting 360 days is not the best one can do.
But those five days left, the world debates,
Arguing over time that fate creates.
We all know that life’s not forever to stay,
So who will account for our final five days?
Never quarrel with those who oppose,
For even ignorance carries its prose.
If you measure ten years, you’ll find many debts,
Each year adds weight to the burdens one gets.
Where milk was given, quietly pay what’s due,
For the milk of life is a gift so true.
This milk is the glory of the Lord above,
Its blessings and benefits are endless in love.
So cherish each day, each moment, each breath,
For the Lord's gifts surpass even death.
